What data you leave with us, what we use it for, and how to ask us to delete it.
1. Who we are
BYS Consultora is a recruitment consultancy based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, made up of Martina Bouquet and Mariana Sangiorgi, operating across Latin America. We are responsible for the processing of the personal data you entrust to us through this site.
For any question about your data, write to us at info@bysconsultora.com.
2. What data we collect
- If you leave us your CV or apply to a search: name, email, LinkedIn profile, role or area of interest, and the content of your CV (work history, education, skills, and any other data you include in it).
- If you contact us as a company: company name, name and contact details of the person writing, the position they want to fill, and the message.
- Browsing: this site doesn't use tracking cookies or analytics tools. We only use temporary browser storage for technical purposes (for example, so the job listings don't have to reload), which doesn't identify you and never leaves your device.
We only collect the data you give us. We don't buy databases and we don't gather information about you from other sources without your knowledge.
3. What we use your data for
- Candidates: to add you to our talent pool, to consider you for the process you applied to and for future searches that match your profile, and to contact you when an opportunity comes up.
- Companies: to answer your inquiry and prepare a service proposal.
We don't use your data for advertising and we don't sell it to third parties.
4. Who we share it with
- Client companies: if your profile advances in a selection process, we share your CV and your contact details with the company looking to fill that position. That's the essence of our service.
- Technology providers: we use third-party services to operate (cloud storage, automation, and email). These providers process data on our behalf and under their own security policies; they can't use it for their own purposes.
Beyond these cases, we don't pass your data on to anyone, unless legally required to.
5. Automated tools and artificial intelligence
We use automated tools, including artificial intelligence, to read and organize the information in the CVs we receive (for example, to extract experience, skills, and languages) and to make it easier to find profiles within our database. These tools help us organize information: decisions about selection processes are always made by people on our team, never by an automated system.
6. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in cloud services from international providers (Google among them), whose servers may be located outside your country. We work with providers that apply internationally recognized security standards.
7. How long we keep it
We keep candidate profiles with no predetermined time limit, for as long as they remain useful for the purpose we received them for: being able to consider you for current and future searches. Our talent pool is long-term; having sent your CV a while back doesn't reduce your chances.
You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see section 8) and we do it, no questions asked.
Data from company inquiries is kept for as long as the commercial relationship or the conversation that gave rise to it lasts.
8. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct or update it if it's out of date or inaccurate.
- Delete it from our database.
- Withdraw your consent for us to contact you about future opportunities.
To exercise any of these rights, write to info@bysconsultora.com from the email address you registered with (or providing proof of your identity). We respond within the timeframes set by the applicable law in your country.
Exercising these rights is free of charge.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data: access restricted to the BYS team, encrypted credentials in our systems, and providers with recognized security standards. No system is foolproof, but if we detected an incident affecting your data, we would notify you in accordance with the applicable regulations.
10. Minors
Our services are intended for people over 18. We don't deliberately collect data from minors.
11. Changes to this policy
If we modify this policy, we'll publish the current version on this same page with its update date.
12. Supervisory authority
The Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (Agency for Access to Public Information), in its capacity as Control Body of Law No. 25.326, has the authority to hear the complaints and claims filed by those whose rights are affected by non-compliance with the regulations in force on personal data protection.
If you are in Brazil or Mexico, you are also entitled to the rights provided under the LGPD (Law 13.709/2018, before the ANPD) and the LFPDPPP (before the INAI), respectively.
